St Andrew's Presbyterian Church Mount Maunganui

1920-1936 monthly services and Sunday School at the Mission Hall in Mt Maunganui under the guidance of St Peters Tauranga.

1936 December: services begin in new Presbyterian Hall on Pacific Avenue in conjunction with Methodists and Salvation Army.

1953 July: St Andrews becomes a separate parish

1954 two sections on Dee St purchased

1957 Appointment of first minister, end of St Peters oversight

1958 services begin at small building relocated to Dee St site

1967 church on Pacific Avenue sold, proceeds go to building church on Dee St

1969, 14 September: Dee St church opened To the Glory of God

1996, 31 March: services at Tahatai Coast School Hall Papamoa begin

2000, Evans Road Community Church, A New Church for the New Millenium, built

2001 discussions begin on new church building for Dee St

2012 rebuild and renovation work begins at St Andrew's Dee St

2013, 10 February: Dedication of St Andrew's Church
