You are welcome to use images in the Presbyterian Research Centre collections for your personal study, unpublished research or classroom teaching.

Please acknowledge Presbyterian Research Centre, Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand as the source each time you use one of our images and remember to cite the image information. The citation that accompanies your reproduction of these images should include the creator, title and medium of the work where this information is known.

For print or online publications, public display or commercial use we will supply a high resolution digital format file. You will need to:
 

• Seek the written permission of the Presbyterian Research Centre, as proprietor of the original photograph.
• Obtain the written permission of the copyright holder, where works are still in copyright.
• In addition to a service fee, charged for the provision of an image, the use of any of these images for commercial purposes will incur a reproduction fee.

Activities deemed ‘Commercial Use’ include posters, cards, television, company websites, business use, advertising and promotion including book covers.

Maori images may have special significance for Maori and we ask users to treat these images with respect.
