DescriptionA scenic view of Joe Shum's Hut, Māori Gully, This home has a corrugated roof, glass windows, and a four-panel front door. One man stands to the right side of the home. [The house may have electricity or mechanical system of some kind based on the boxes on the left end of the home.]

This is likely a Chinese Gold Miners as the image was taken by Rev Alexander Don on his tour of Central Otago Chinese Gold Miners in 1900-01.
