The three marriage registers of Rev E. A. Axelsen were held in the archive of Knox Church Dunedin until 1992 when the archivist (Lyndall Hancock) transferred these to the Presbyterian Archive. Whilst some of the marriages took place at Knox church, others occured in the manse, private homes and even the Forth Street Maternity Hospital [information in letter from Lyndall Hancock to Eleanor Leckie, 4/9/1992.
