Upper Hutt Uniting Parish
Created from a church union of the Presbyterian Churches St David's, Iona, Wallaceville and St Andrew's parishes, and the Upper Hutt Methodist Church on the 14th of July 1976. St Davids was demolished in 1976 to fund developments of the Wesley Centre. A new non-denominational church complex was built at Brown Owl in the north of Upper Hutt in 1978.
In June 2015 the Upper Hutt Uniting Parish has two worship centres, at Iona and Wesley.
